ANS Development Process

JUMP TO STEP:

Overview 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Once the BSR-9 Form is filed with ANSI, the ANSI Board of Standards Review (BSR) formally evaluates compliance and consensus. During this time, ACCT responds to BSR inquiries or requests for clarification. The BSR will notify ACCT of its decision and post the decision in Standards Action.

HOW ACCT MEMBERS & STAKEHOLDERS CAN PARTICIPATE

  • Review Standards Action for the approval outcome.
  • If you are dissatisfied with the results, explore ANSI-level appeal rights (through BSR and further to the Appeals Board).
