4. Resolution of Votes and Comments
Following the close of the Public Review Period, the ACCT Board of Directors, acting on behalf of the ASD, will direct efforts to address the comments and foster a final consensus. As part of this process, the ASD will:
- Resolve negative votes and comments where possible, documenting the resolutions in writing.
- Notify dissenters of outcomes and provide options to reaffirm or change votes if substantive changes occur.
- Recirculate the updated draft for confirmation as required by the ANSI Essential Requirements (ER) and ACCT’s Accredited Procedures (AP).
HOW ACCT MEMBERS & STAKEHOLDERS CAN PARTICIPATE
- If you submitted feedback or voted “No”, review ACCT’s responses and discuss further if needed.
- Stay engaged to observe how objections are handled and ensure procedural fairness.
RESOLUTION OF COMMENTS & VOTES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Each comment is reviewed and responded to in writing. If unresolved, you'll be notified of your appeal rights. Additional information is available in ACCT's Accredited Procedures (AP), Section 6.8
