The Accredited Standards Developer (ASD) will notify any objector—whether from the Public Review Period or Consensus Body—of their appeal rights, including providing instructions and timelines for how to lodge an appeal within ACCT.

HOW ACCT MEMBERS & STAKEHOLDERS CAN PARTICIPATE

  • File an appeal with ACCT if you believe your procedural concerns weren’t fairly addressed.
  • Engage in ACCT’s appeals process, and if necessary, escalate to ANSI’s BSR level based on outcomes.

Parties who are directly and materially interested in and who have been or will be adversely affected by any procedural action or inaction by the Accredited Standards Developer (ASD) or any ASD-related process have the right to appeal. Additional information is available in ACCT's Accredited Procedures (AP), Section 11.
