Community

When we refer to the ACCT Community, we often mean the industry as a whole. Even if the operation isn't a member or aware of ACCT, their builder, inspector, or trainer likely is. We invite all industry participants to engage, offering additional benefits to those who support our efforts through membership and volunteer service.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are several levels of volunteer groups that help ACCT accomplish our goals.

  • Committees - report to the Board of Directors
  • Work Groups - report to the ACCT Staff
  • Panels - formed by and reports to a Committee/Work Group for a specific work product
  • Task Forces - formed by and reports to a Committee/Work Group for a specific work product (short term)

Community Hub

We're actively populating our engagement Hub with conversation topics and education opportunities. We're excited to see what might grow out of that area as it sees more use,

Some topics have attracted formal groupings called Affinity Groups that have historically met on other platforms, but we invite them to use the Hub as their ACCT home base.


ACCT Updates

We post news that relates to ACCT itself or the community as whole to this area. These news stories are also sent in e-mail newsletters to anyone with a user account on the website.
