Tasks:
• Actively Promotes the Corps-wide Leadership and Character Development Program (LCDP)
• Provides experiential learning opportunities to the Corps of Cadets through the Yate Leadership Challenge Complex (YLCC) - High/Low Ropes Courses, Paintball Course, Leadership Reaction Course, Rappel Tower, and Obstacle Courses.
• Serves as an academic instructor for cadets enrolled in the Leadership Education and Development Course, physical education, and oversees student YLCC facilitators and NMMI cadets while on YLCC Courses.
• Coordination and facilitation of summer camp activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• The ability to obtain knowledge of the Institute’s mission, organization, function, purpose and goals, and operations.
• Demonstrates the ability to positively engage with a diverse population of cadets, faculty, staff, and individuals and organizations external to the Institute.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate complex ideas in written and oral communications.

Required:
•Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
•Bachelor’s degree in recreation or experiential learning.
•Ability to acquire certification as a ropes course manager in accordance with the ACCT.
•Experience working with adolescents and young adults.
Preferred:
•Master's degree
•Bilingual capability
