Call for Volunteers - Standards Education Task Force
Call for Volunteers: Standards Education Task Force
Our industry has made it clear: there is a strong need for clear, accessible education around the ACCT Standards. To meet this growing demand, we are launching a short-term but highly impactful volunteer opportunity within the Standards Education Task Force.
Project Scope (Part 1 – Volunteers Needed Now)
We are breaking up the Operation Standards into 2 parts. For Part 1, from December through May (with the possibility of completing in April), the Task Force will focus on the first portion of content from the ANSI/ACCT Chapter 2 Operation Standards. Volunteers will help develop educational content that explains:
-
What each standard means
-
Why it matters
-
How it can be realistically implemented in the field
This content will directly support members across the industry who have been asking for guidance, clarity, and practical application examples.
Who We’re Looking For
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who:
-
Have a comprehensive, working knowledge of ACCT Operational Standards.
-
Are experienced in applying standards within real-world operations.
-
Can translate standards into clear, practical explanations.
-
Are committed to helping elevate industry-wide understanding.
Because of the nature of this work, this is not a beginner-friendly opportunity. We are specifically seeking contributors who have been immersed in standards use and implementation.
Why Volunteer?
Your expertise will help shape an educational resource the industry urgently needs. This will help improve clarity and operational excellence. This is a meaningful way to give back without a long-term commitment.
If you’re ready to make an impact and contribute to this essential initiative, we’d love to hear from you.
