Mountain Operations Supervisor


What You'll Do

The Mountain Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and performance of Icy Strait Point's mountain attractions and critical infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the gondola systems, ZipRider, Adventure Park, and on-site facilities while supporting future expansion projects. You'll lead a team of maintenance and operations professionals, champion safety, manage budgets, coordinate with vendors, and continuously improve operational performance to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

When You'll Work

This is a full-time leadership position, working 9 months and then off for 3 months, supporting daily operations, preventative maintenance, capital improvements, and future expansion projects throughout the year.

Employee housing is available for qualified candidates relocating to Hoonah. Housing options provide a convenient and comfortable living environment close to work and the natural beauty Southeast Alaska has to offer.


How You'll Succeed

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, electrical or power generation systems, or aerial lift operations. Success in this role requires excellent leadership, sound decision-making, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and guest service.
