Inspector Certification Update: What to Know for the 2026 ACCT Conference in OKC

Please note: There will not be an Inspector Certification Prep Course or in-person testing held at the 2026 Conference in Oklahoma City. Take advantage of this change by using your Thursday and Sunday to dive into other valuable educational sessions and networking opportunities during the event!

New Virtual Testing Schedule – Starting January 2026

Beginning in 2026, ACCT will offer three virtual Inspector Certification testing events per year:

• March (2nd week)
  
  

• July (2nd week)
  
  

• November (2nd week)

This consistent annual schedule is designed to:

• Align certification expiration dates to March 31, July 31, and November 30
  
  

• Allow you to attend conference sessions and earn CEUs without stressing about applications and testing.
  
  

• Help you plan ahead and eliminate the need to choose between testing and attending other industry events.

Prep Course Is On-Demand Year-Round

The Inspector Certification Prep Course is available anytime on-demand in ACCT Academy! Once purchased, you'll have 15 days of access to complete the course before it closes again behind a paywall. This course remains a requirement for all new applicants and must be completed at least 5 days prior to your chosen testing date. You will receive a completion certificate with your CEUs once complete. Please download this certificate and keep it with your records for proof of completion.

To support your preparation, monthly virtual Q&A sessions are offered for participants to get answers and insights on both the course content and the testing process.
