Important Conference Details
We are so excited to see you in Portland, OR, USA, in less than 65 days!!! Below are a few important event related details and deadlines we want to make sure are on your radar.
Our last registration deadline for our Portland conference is December 16, 2022. After this date walk-in rates apply.
When registering, take a moment to consider if you are planning to attend the awards dinner on Saturday evening. This meal is included in your registration fee, but we must have an accurate headcount. If you plan to attend the awards dinner, please make sure to check that box (it's listed on Saturday in the pre-con selection page) on the registration form so that we have an accurate headcount for the meal. The deadline for this is December 16, 2022.
You’re registered for the conference now what? Make sure to secure a hotel room at our host hotel the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center - Hotel Cutoff Date is January 18th, 2023. If you book in our group block on or before the cutoff date (January 18, 2023) you will be entered into our raffle. The winner will receive a complimentary 2023 full conference registration, three (3) nights of conference hotel lodging at the Hyatt Regency Portland, as well as a $25 gift card.
With our event approaching it is an important time for us to remind you that ACCT is aware of companies (Convention Housing Services, Global Housing, Global Travel, etc…) that solicit our exhibitors to provide “assistance” with their hotel reservations. We have been told that they sometimes pretend to be the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) Housing Bureau or claim to represent the host hotel. They may assert that they can get better hotel rates, and/or that the rooms at the host hotel are limited. They are NOT the official housing bureau and are NOT affiliated with the ACCT in any capacity.
If you receive a call or email from this or any company claiming to represent ACCT, be advised that this may be a scam. We repeat, these companies are NOT affiliated with the ACCT in any capacity. DO NOT MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS WITH ANYONE BUT THE HOST HOTEL. If you are contacted by any company claiming to represent ACCT, please ask for the company name, phone number, address, and the contact who called and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.

If you're planning to join us in February we would love to have you join our new Facebook group which we hope will provide a place for people coming to the conference in February to connect prior to arriving. This is also an opportunity for attendees to exchange information about the conference as well as learn all about Portland from locals within our community.
Service Crew Recruitment:
If you, or someone you know, wants to attend the conference and is looking to $ave - Apply to work as a Yellow Hat volunteer. This is a great way for individuals to connect with others in the industry and assist with many aspects of conference operations.
Auction | Raffle:
We're hosting the Silent Auction virtually again this year, making it convenient for you to score great deals while contributing to a great cause! Many individuals and organizations have made generous donations for the Silent Auction in the past and all dollars raised will help worthy candidates gain professional development by joining us at future events via our scholarship program. We encourage you to consider donating. This can be a product, service, or something from your hometown that you’d like to share with this community.
