Fall 2025 Update from APTF2

ACCT Accredited Procedures Task Force-2 is very near completion of its assigned work. The team is in the final stage of completion of the following deliverables:

• Frequently Asked Questions document.

• Local Operating Procedures for staff and Board of Directors use to guide the standards management process.

• Video of the overall standards process (reminiscent of “Schoolhouse Rock”) for basic standards development education.

• Collaboration with ACCT Academy to chart a course for future standards development education (LMS, Webinars, etc). There is much left to be done on this front, and several of our members are eager to contribute to the Academy Workgroup’s upcoming projects.

• Guiding document for ACCT website to provide information on the standards process linking to FAQ’s. This will provide critical information for member education on the standards process. Stay tuned for the unveiling of this information on our new website! 

• PowerPoint for use in standards education and to be used for a planned update at the 2026 ACCT convention in OKC.

I feel truly fortunate to have worked with this fine group of dedicated volunteers, and am very grateful to their significant contributions of time, creative energy, and critical thinking. We are not quite finished yet, but are nearing completion. We look forward to seeing you in our update session at the next ACCT Conference in Oklahoma City.
