Position title: Construction Manager (Onsite)

About ABEE: We are a full-service Challenge Course, Climbing Wall, Aerial Park and Zip Line tour company. We provide adventure education and experiential program design to educational institutions (K-12 and universities), summer camps, conference and outdoor centers, resorts, commercial amusement operations and more. Our services include design, installation, inspection, operator training and certification, and equipment supply.

Job Summary: Construction Manager (On-Site) will oversee and participate in the construction and safety inspection of Challenge Courses, Climbing Walls, Aerial Adventure Courses, and Zip Lines. This job requires working at height and a significant amount of travel. Safety of our staff and clients is of the utmost concern while installing, inspecting, training, and performing general work duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Installation of Aerial Adventure Course structures
  • Inspection of Ariel Adventure Course structures and operational equipment
  • Perform job responsibilities and meet work time schedule requirements as assigned
  • Client communication
  • Staying current with industry practices, standards, and related regulations
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Provide a safe and healthy experience for co-workers and clients
  • Make good, sound, safe decisions regarding self and others
  • Maintain good physical condition as necessary to perform all job duties
  • Follow all guidelines as set forth in job description, company policy and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements: 

  • Must have current driver's license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to write reports
  • Carpentry skills
  • Ability to work long hours and irregular shifts in a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment
  • Ability to read and execute construction off of blueprint plans
  • Industry experience is preferred

Travel:
