Challenge/Ropes Course Trainer (VGV)

Responsibilities
● Train on various Challenge Courses, Ziplines and Adventure/Aerial Parks for VGV clients
● Follow set training guidelines
● Create a positive and effective learning environment
● Manage safety of self and trainees on the ground and at height
● Demonstrate and maintain safe behaviors, to include Covid-19 protocols, at all times
● Maintain a professional appearance
● Be on-time
● Communicate with office on a daily basis
● Communicate with client prior to and during training
● Manage course materials such as participant waivers, tests, receipts, skill assessments, gear, etc.
● Promptly complete written training reports, expense reports and other paperwork

Qualifications
● Minimum of 2 years (5 yrs preferred) challenge course training experience
● ACCT Practitioner Certification preferred
● Have First Aid and CPR certification
● Have a minimum of 800 hours of documented program delivery experience
● Have a positive professional attitude
● Must be available to travel
● Be in good physical condition and willing to work outside in all weather conditions
● Good communication and client interaction skills
● Organized and able to work efficiently
● Must have a clean driving record and pass background check
● Must be willing to work long hours and varied schedule when necessary
● Must successfully complete Vestals Gap Ventures Train the Trainer session
● Availability in April, May, June
