Description & Details:

Fritz’s Adventure is now hiring an Attractions Manager for our location in The Colony, TX.  Fritz’s is an experiential adventure park that brings people together through discovery, challenge and play.  We offer two million cubic feet of attractions including zip lines, mazes, tunnels, a ropes course, playgrounds and more.

The Attractions Manager oversees all aspects of the park’s zip line, aerial, and adventure attractions, ensuring a safe, efficient, and unforgettable experience for every guest. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, driving excellence in safety, guest service, staff development, and overall attraction performance. 


Key Responsibilities: 
Operational Leadership 
•Oversee daily operations of zip lines, ropes course, climbing walls, and related attractions. 
•Lead and motivate FT leads to deliver excellent guest service and day to day operations of attractions. 
•Manage attraction capacity, scheduling, and staffing to optimize performance and guest satisfaction. 
•Maintain a visible presence throughout the park to support operations and resolve issues in real time. 
•Develop and implement standard operating procedures for attractions, equipment, and guest flow. 
•Collaborate effectively and proactively with management team on all operational, safety and guest service initiatives. 
•Perform all other duties as assigned or as necessary to support all of Fritz’s Adventure. 


Safety & Compliance 
•Demonstrate complete knowledge of and enforce all safety standards and operating procedures in accordance with company policies, industry regulations and manufacturer requirements. 
•Serve as primary safety leader for the location. 
•Oversee daily inspections, harness fittings, and guest briefings. 
•Respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies. 
•Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions as needed. 
•Oversee training and certification programs for all attractions staff, including rescue procedures, first aid, and emergency response. 
 

Guest Experience 
•Create wow moments with a welcoming, enthusiastic, and guest-focused atmosphere. 
•Proactively observe and listen to guests and resolve issues quickly with professionalism and empathy. 
•Model and coach exceptional guest interaction skills for all team members. 
•Work with the marketing and guest services teams to enhance storytelling, engagement, and overall guest satisfaction. 


Team Development 
•Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing attractions team, including leads and front-line adventure guides. 
•Set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide regular coaching and recognition. 
•Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive, safety-driven workplace culture. 
•Support professional development opportunities for staff certifications and advancement. 


Administrative and Financial Management 
•Develop and manage the attractions department budget, including labor, training, and equipment costs. 
•Track performance metrics such as throughput, guest satisfaction, and incident rates. 
•Prepare reports and make data-driven recommendations for operational improvements. 
•Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and capital projects related to attractions. 


Qualifications: 
•Minimum 3–5 years of experience in attractions, adventure park, or outdoor recreation management. 
•Strong leadership background with experience supervising multi-level teams. 
•In-depth knowledge of zip line, ropes course, or adventure operations strongly preferred. 
•Comfortable working at heights up to 75 feet. 
•Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
•Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and operational performance. 
•CPR/First Aid and Rescue certification required (or ability to obtain). 
•Must be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather and physically demanding conditions. 
 

Schedule & Environment: 
•Full-time salary position; nights, weekends, holidays and peak season availability are required. 
•Indoor and outdoor work environment with variable weather and physical activity.
