Description & Details:


The Adventure Outpost Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Adventure Outpost, including the zipline course, kayak rentals, and water taxis. This role ensures smooth operations, safety compliance, and exceptional guest service. The Lead will assist in training, scheduling, and supervising team members while maintaining operational excellence and supporting revenue goals.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

discretion to change or add to the duties of this position at any time.


  • Oversee daily operations of all Adventure Outpost attractions in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • Support the Supervisor in implementing safety, training, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in training and mentoring Assistant Leads and Team Members.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and guest service expectations.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Generate weekly schedules and staffing to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and attractions to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and maintenance.
  • Support inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Act as a role model for company values and guest service standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all attraction areas.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be able and willing to work all Adventure Outpost attractions.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights of 15+ feet and around water.
  • All other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsibilities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety policies and laws.


  • Provide direction and support to Assistant Leads and Team Members.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff.
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback to team members.
  • Ensure timely and proper opening and closing of attractions.
  • Support the Supervisor in enforcing grooming, safety, and hospitality standards.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS



  • Must understand, read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a POS system and manage guest transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and meet physical demands of the role.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in attractions, recreation, or hospitality. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS



  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • CPR/AED certification preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
