Description & Details:
The Attractions Supervisor is responsible for supervising all aspects of assigned attractions/areas, including budgeting, hiring, training, supervising, developing, and evaluating Attractions Team Members. The Attractions Supervisor is also responsible for achieving safety, friendliness, cleanliness, line speed/throughput, and financial goals. This role includes overseeing the Adventure Outpost which includes a zipline course, kayak rentals, and lake tours with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and pushing revenue.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and control operating budgets.
- Ensure direct reports understand and operate within financial goals.
- Interview, hire, schedule, coach, counsel, evaluate, perform corrective action, and establish recognition programs.
- Recognize and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Train and develop Team Leads, Assistant Leads, and Team Members.
- Evaluate operational efficiency by capturing success/learning that is accurate and timely in order to guide future decisions for improving operations.
- Monitor operations for procedure compliance. Coordinate actions with the Safety and Maintenance Teams to make operational procedure changes.
- Participate in cross-training and support of Team objectives, including functioning in the role of Attractions/Park Duty Manager.
- Coach and empower others, provide feedback to the team, and ensure accountability of team members for results.
- Implement all safety procedures, including developing and enforcing Safety Standards, Training Procedures, and Emergency Procedures.
- Create a positive first and last impression for park guests through Guest Service, Friendliness, and Attention to Detail within all areas of responsibility.
- Develop and implement capacity and entertainment enhancement plans for areas of responsibility.
- Oversee the Adventure Outpost, including the new Zip line course and kayak rentals, ensuring safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, maintenance, and conduct regular inspections of all equipment to ensure safety and operational standards are met.
- Focus on pushing revenue through strategic planning and execution.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
These are carried out in accordance with applicable safety policies and laws. Responsibilities include the following:
- Hire, train, supervise, coach, and counsel staff.
- Audit, plan, assign, schedule, and direct work.
- Counsel employees, address complaints, resolve problems.
- Ensure staff adherence to all safety and hospitality procedures and grooming standards.
- Be self-motivated and disciplined.
- Prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience supervising 50 or more people in the theme park/gated attraction/hospitality industry preferred.
- Experience working with computers and computer software, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous working experience where safety compliance and customer satisfaction are a high priority.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must have and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Must maintain all licenses and registrations related to areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an A.E.D/C.P.R certification within 6 months of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an ACCT certification within 6 months of employment.
