As a 501(c)(6) professional trade association for the aerial adventure industry, ACCT’s core mission is to enable member success. ACCT is the leading voice for the industry, providing standards, accreditation, education, advocacy, and professional development that help organizations operate safely, grow sustainably, and remain competitive.
What Does ACCT Do?
Advancing Global Safety and Standards
ACCT advances global safety and professional excellence by engaging regulators, government agencies, and industry leaders worldwide through its volunteer driven Government Relations Work Group. Our ANSI accredited standards are recognized by jurisdictions throughout the United States and internationally, including Singapore, and are helping shape the future of aerial adventure standards around the world.
Since 2023, ACCT has served as the technical liaison to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) for the development of its Aerial Adventure Standard. As the subject matter expert for ISO's Adventure Tourism Working Group (TC 228/WG 7), we have contributed source material from our standards, participated in drafting and reviewing the ISO standard, and supported global standards harmonization efforts. Through this work, ACCT plays a central role in helping establish consistent safety and operational benchmarks for the global aerial adventure industry.

ACCT promotes safety and professional excellence through the accreditation of vendors and operations across the challenge course, aerial adventure, zip line, and canopy tour industries.

Who Can Become a Member?
ACCT offers several membership categories:

Business to Business (B2B) Members: Companies that provide equipment, products, or professional services to the industry. Accredited Vendors are B2B members that have demonstrated exceptional expertise and experience in any of the following service areas: design, installation, inspection, training, and practitioner certification.

Business to Client (B2C) Members: Commercial and nonprofit organizations, including camps, schools, colleges, and other operators of courses. Eligible organizations may pursue Accredited Operation status by demonstrating compliance with ACCT Standards through inspections, training documentation, and a comprehensive onsite operational review.

Industry Stakeholder Members: Organizations and professionals who provide related or supporting services to the industry.

Individual Members: Individuals with a professional or personal interest in the challenge course and aerial adventure industry.
