Course Description:
Level 1 Certification Course Description:
The Level 1 training targets the knowledge and skills to operate and manage the risks of challenge course elements. This comprehensive course covers both Low and High elements and includes curriculum regarding Inspections, Gear/Equipment, Belaying, Knot-tying, Experiential Theory, and Emergency Action Plans. At the conclusion, the practitioner will have the tools to operate most educational/recreational course elements and the knowledge to test for Level 1 certification.
Operating Systems: Low Elements, Dynamic, Static, Mechanical/Auto Belay
Specialty Elements: Dynamically Belayed Elements (Vertical and Traversing), Static Course (Traditional and Continuous Belay), Climbing Wall (Auto Belay), Leaping Elements, Zipline (Gravity and Hydraulic)
Certification Pre-requisites:
• Minimum age of 18
• No experience required (Level 1)
Non-Certification Options: If you do not meet the prerequisites or do not wish to take the Certification test, you may still take the course for Audit credit.
Cancellation Policy: The processing fee is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of the reason for cancellation. Cancellation 15 days prior to training will be refunded in full MINUS the processing fee or a full credit may be applied to a future training within 12 months. Cancellations between 7-15 days prior to the training will either receive a refund of 50% of the training fee or it may be applied to a future training within 12 months. Cancellations 7 days prior to the training will not be refunded.
No-Go Date: Please keep in mind that the No-Go date for this training is August 10, 2026. If we do not reach out minimum of 5 participants signed up, we will have to cancel.

The Level 2 training targets the knowledge and skills for responding to non-typical situations and participants and for the mentorship of other practitioners. The goal of Level 2 training is to equip practitioners with a range of practical tools as well as the critical problem-solving for problem-solving unusual or emergency scenarios. At the conclusion, practitioners will have the knowledge to test for Level 2 certification.
Operating Systems: Low Elements, Dynamic, Static, Mechanical/Auto Belay
Specialty Elements: Dynamically Belayed Elements (Vertical and Traversing), Static Course (Traditional and Continuous Belay), Climbing Wall (Auto Belay), Leaping Elements, Zipline (Gravity and Hydraulic)

• 200+ hours of documented Program Delivery (Level 2)
• 20 hours of Documentation of past formal training and skills verification in challenge course operations from an ACCT International Accredited Vendor.
