Understanding legal implications and liability concerns during natural disasters; how to mitigate risk and protect your organization.
  1. Understand key legal terms and liability concepts relevant to crises.
  2. Identify proactive steps to reduce liability exposure during and after an incident.
  3. Explore best practices for documentation and communication to protect your organization.

ACCT International has launched a webinar series designed to help operators, staff, and community members prepare for, respond to, and recover from crises that may impact challenge courses and aerial adventure programs. From natural disasters to operational disruptions, this series will provide practical tools, expert insights, and real-world lessons to strengthen resilience at every stage—before, during, and after a crisis.

For this series, a crisis refers to significant, often unexpected events that disrupt normal operations, pose serious risks to safety, or create long-term impacts for organizations, staff, and communities. Examples include natural disasters, severe accidents, major facility damage, or other large-scale disruptions. Each session will feature guest speakers with specialized expertise and lived experience.

Introduction to Series - 9 min video

Other topics will include: best practices for internal and external communication during and after a natural disaster., the mental health side of crisis mangement, preparing for incidents and injuries, and emergency preparedness planning.
Purchase includes access to the recordings (to be housed directly in this course) as well as a discussion area with a calendar of the live events.
