Job Description

Are you excited to develop quality experiential education programs and trainings that will change people’s lives?  High 5 is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who can connect and empower participants in a trusting and supportive learning environment. This is a full-time entry-level position in our Training and Team Development (T&TD) department supporting our camp, school, direct service, therapeutic, youth agency, outdoor program, and business clients throughout the Northeast US.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and deliver High 5 experiential based programs & professional trainings in a variety of client settings and at our office site. 

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing communication, program development, and customer support.

  • Assist in various office tasks, administrative paperwork, and record keeping.

  • Thoughtfully nurture leadership qualities and skills in others.

  • Represent High 5 at industry conferences and events.

  • Present workshops at conferences focused on experiential education and challenge course operations.

Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with youth and adults. Experience in working with public school educators or therapeutic staff is a plus.

  • Preferred qualifications to be Level 2 trained in accordance with QCP (Qualified Course Professional) standards of ACCT International. 

  • Must be capable of working in outdoor settings at height, in all weather, and independently at times.

  • Willingness to bring energy and adaptability to High 5 and its mission, style, and team culture.

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and systems thinking.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Google Suite and general CRM use.

  • Willingness to live within a daily commutable distance to High 5’s office in Brattleboro, VT. Ability to travel weekly to client locations.

Salary and Benefits: Salary Range: $37,500 - $50,000, depending on experience, skills, and education.  In addition, we offer a generous benefits package that reflects the value we place on the well-being of our employees and their families. 30 days C.T.O. plus 19 days paid holidays, professional industry certifications, health and life insurance, as well as opportunities for dental, eye, and short-term disability insurance.
