Cost of Training: $475

  • This includes training tuition and materials, certification testing, and bonus materials, as well as a non-refundable processing fee of $30.
  • Meals and lodging are not included.

Please keep in mind that this will be a blended learning experience. If you are signing up for Level 2, you will need to submit your portfolio to the trainer by 09/22/2025.

Level 1 Certification Course Description:

The Level 1 training targets the knowledge and skills to operate and manage risks of challenge course elements. This comprehensive course covers both Low and High elements, and includes curriculum regarding Inspections, Gear/Equipment, Belaying, Knot-tying, Low Element Facilitation, Experiential Theory, and Emergency Action Plans. At the conclusion, practitioner will have the tools to operate most educational/recreational course elements and the knowledge to test for Level 1 certification.

Certification Pre-requisites:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • No experience required (Level 1)

*This course is not intended to prepare you to train others. It focuses on core technical skill proficiency to prepare you to deliver routine programming (Level I).

Level 2 Certification Course Description:

The Level 2 training targets the knowledge and skills for responding to non-typical situations and participants and for the mentorship of other practitioners. The goal of Level 2 training is to equip practitioners with a range of practical tools as well as the critical problem-solving for problem-solving unusual or emergency scenarios. At the conclusion, practitioners will have the knowledge to test for Level 2 certification.



Certification Pre-requisites:

Minimum age of 18
200+ hours of documented Program Delivery
Documentation of past formal training and skills verification in challenge course operations from an ACCT Accredited Vendor.
*While this course is not intended to prepare you to train others, it prepares you to supervise and mentor other practitioners. (Level II)

Non-Certification Options: If you do not meet the prerequisites or do not wish to take the Certification test, you may still take the course for Audit credit.

Cancellation Policy: The credit card processing fee is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of reason for cancellation. Cancellation 15 days prior to training will be refunded in full MINUS the credit card fee or a full credit may be applied to a future training within 12 months. Cancellations between 7-15 days prior to the training will either receive a refund of 50% of the training fee or it may be applied to a future training within 12 months. Cancellations 7 days prior to the training will not be refunded.

*No-Go Date: Please keep in mind that the No-Go date for this training is 09/22/2025. If we do not reach out minimum of 5 participants signed up, we will have to cancel.
