Riverfront Zip Adventures is seeking a Course Manager for our dual racing ziplines! An ideal candidate is a driven and well-rounded individual who has previous course management experience, builds strong interpersonal connections with staff and guests, and has superb organization and communication skills.

The Course Manager will be responsible for multiple aspects of zipline operations including the training and scheduling of staff, facilitation of guests, a wide range of customer service responsibilities, creation and organization of pertinent documentation, contracting of 3rd party services, performance of in-house inspections and maintenance, and more!

Riverfront Zip Adventures is a dual racing zip line situated in the heart of the Grand Junction, CO Riverfront District. We opened our doors in the summer of 2023 and are proud to serve the public by providing an exciting and unique opportunity to all members of our community. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day technical operations of the course including, but not limited to:
    • Course opening and closing
    • Facilitation of the course as necessary
    • Act as ground support when the course is operational
    • Coordination of incident response
    • Cessation of operations decisions
    • Assist with guest inquiries and resolution of issues
    • Perform and document periodic inspections and course maintenance
    • Contract and schedule 3rd party services
    • Staff scheduling, evaluation, and ongoing training and initiatives
    • Tracking, retirement, and procurement of equipment and course components
    • Creating and maintaining course related documentation
    • Monitoring and responding to voicemail, e-mail, and other messages
    • Creating and monitoring social media stories and accounts
    • Weekly reporting
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and support of community-based programs and business partnerships
  • Seek and provide staff development and staff initiative opportunities
  • Provide prompt correspondence with guests both in-person and digitally
  • Actively seek individual and group ridership opportunities

Position Requirements

  •         2+ years of zipline facilitation experience
  •         1-2 years of staff management and/or leadership experience
  •         ACCT Level 2 certified or equivalent experience
  •         Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  •         Thrives in both a team-based and individual atmosphere

Reports to:
Operations Manager & Business Manager

Job Type:
Part time to Full time availability; seasonal with potential for year-round work

Hourly Commitment
20 - 40hrs a week. Overtime with prior approval

Salary:
$20-$24/hr

Availability:
3-7 days per week depending on the season. Weekend availability is a must.
