As an ANSI-accredited standards developer for the challenge course and zip line industry, ACCT International establishes consensus-based standards addressing the design, inspection, operation, and training associated with these activities; provides ongoing education and networking opportunities; and offers credentialing programs for vendors, operations, and inspectors.
It would be inappropriate for ACCT to comment on the specific facts of any incident while investigations are ongoing. We support thorough review by the appropriate authorities and encourage all operators to follow applicable regulations and industry standards.
ACCT International does not investigate individual incidents, and it does not determine compliance for specific facilities outside of its formal accreditation programs. Determinations regarding regulatory compliance or operational responsibility are appropriately made by authorities having jurisdiction and investigative bodies.
